If you think that staying for a couple of days won’t be enough to satisfy you, then you need to extend your stay. First thing’s first, Toronto is not the kind of city wherein you can simply plan to stay for a week and expect to see and experience everything available.
During my first stay in Toronto a couple of years back, it was for a business meeting. What a dull and boring experience, right? At least, that’s what most people would think.
If you’re thinking that my business trip wasn’t fun and exciting, then you’re terribly mistaken. But it wasn’t the business meetings that made my day; it was what happened after the meetings were over!
Let me give you a bit of background, I was supposed to stay for the three days – two days were loaded with nothing but meetings while the third was allocated for my colleagues and I to tour around the city. While we were checking out the different spots and sights of the city, I noticed one thing: it was a totally different experience from the other places I’d been to. Don’t get me wrong, I can say that I’ve traveled around the world a lot with my work, but Toronto just gives off a completely different vibe.
Personally, I knew that my friends and family had been huge fans of Toronto, but when I visited for myself, I didn’t know that it would be this awesome. First of all, they have A LOT of food. I’m the type of person who easily gets excited over trying out different cuisines and dishes.
When I went to Toronto, I was in heaven. Seriously, you could try out different kinds of dishes every single day if you felt like it. Now, if you aren’t into the whole food-thing, which I highly doubt, and you’re more of an artsy kind of person, Toronto also has that going for you.
The city encourages young artist to share their stories and experiences through painting, music, or drama. You’ll be able to find some pretty talented people who are ready step out and shine on the world stage.
Which leads me to say that I have met the most interesting people in Toronto – seriously, never have I met people who have such a unique view of the world. The locals in Toronto were very kind and accommodating, they made me feel welcome.
It’s kind of funny that during the first hour of my tour around the city, I instantly fell in love. Are you a fan of coffee? If you are, then you should support their independent coffee shops that are run by young entrepreneurs who are following their dreams – they really are creative with their marketing.
If there’s anything that’s noticeable right away in Toronto, it’s that they have a well-developed fashion sense. I would say that this is the city for all of your fashion needs. They have it all from cool, plaid flannel to awesome monochrome knitwear.
No need to fret, these items are all affordable. Toronto’s shopping streets are by far the best when you’re looking for high-quality yet affordable items to bring back home.
So we’ve settled WHY you should stay in Toronto, and our only problem now is your accommodations. Convincing a hotel to allow an extended stay can be difficult. This is especially so when there are a lot of tourists in Toronto fighting for a room to stay for the night.
In other words, when you tell a hotel that you’ll only be staying for three days, then it’s most likely someone has already booked the room for the night after your stated departure.
However, Rosemont Residences is different, not only do they provide you with everything that you need to have a good and comfortable time, but the establishment also gives you an extended stay in Toronto without any problems.
