Bright, alive, and never asleep—that’s what describes the city of Toronto the most. Toronto is home to many individuals that came from all across the globe. Having a conglomerate of the different cultures in one city, the art scene, food, festivals, nightlife, and beautiful scenes all over. Toronto has got it all, and that’s why tourists have been flocking to the city.
Arts and Culture
Something that you don’t want to miss when in the city is the different cultures and neighborhoods of Toronto. They are the main driving force to the city’s tourist boom. With Toronto being one of the top 10 most culturally diverse cities in the world, you get to experience the different languages, foods, traditions, and customs of other cultures within a single area.
Toronto being the largest city in Canada, it has world class museums, galleries, and theaters, making it a haven for art lovers and enthusiasts. In Toronto, even shoes have their own museum, the Bata Shoe Museum.
It’s no different with theaters. If you’re into drama and plays, some venues like the Elgin and Winter Garden Theaters offer backstage access and tours, as well as regular shows. If you’re more into poetry, music, comedy shows, and just overall entertainment, you’ll find tons within the city.
People need to eat, and there’s no better place to do that than in the city of Toronto, which offers diverse selections from their different cultures, essentially taking your taste buds on a trip across the world! Experience fresh pasta in Little Italy, some Vietnamese hot pho if you’re chilly, some delicious shawarma in Greektown, and more. There are so many options to choose from that it might take you a few hours to just decide what and where to eat. And if you’re looking for luxury and fine dining, there are many world class restaurants that call Toronto home.
Like any place that has a long cold season, the inhabitants of Toronto love the spring and summer months. People living in Toronto may not be what you’d think of as “outdoorsy,” but the city makes it easy for people to enjoy the outdoors, especially on a sunny day.
The city has some beautiful and scenic islands that you can easily get to in a single ferry ride. You can also go kayaking and paddle boarding around the islands while enjoying the beautiful skyline of Toronto.
If you just want to sit back and relax, you can easily do so in the green spaces and fields of High Park and Kew Gardens. Huge grassy areas make for a perfect picnic spot, and if hiking is more up your alley, you can head east and head a little deeper into nature.
I had the opportunity to experience the city during one of my travels last year, and I can honestly say that what’s written here doesn’t do the city justice, and you need to experience the city to fully appreciate all it has to offer.
I like to be comfortable when I travel, so I would often stay at luxurious hotels, but ever since the city of Toronto has been getting so popular, finding my kind of hotel has been a much more difficult task. All the hotels seemed booked until the very next month, and it took me quite a bit of researching to find a replacement, but I’m glad I did because my stay with them was phenomenal!
What I’m talking about is the Rosemont Residences. They are not a hotel, but they offer furnished or non-furnished luxurious apartment rentals, and they can perfectly complement your stay in Toronto.
For someone like me who loves to splurge and not worry about the expenses until vacation is over, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the quality of service that they offer and the experience you get while staying with them seems like a steal compared to their price.
They are one of the—if not, THE—the most affordable luxurious accommodation that I’ve ever encountered in my travels, and I’m glad that I came across them. While you’re staying at the Rosemont Residences, you can have access to their world class amenities such as a stadium styled movie theater, around the clock security services, executive boardroom, conference center, a fully equipped executive business center, billiard and games lounge, a roof deck with BBQ stations, and more.
My Toronto experience has been elevated even more with the Rosemont Residences, and if you ever plan to visit the city of Toronto, then I’d suggest that you stay with them.
